By using the JapanMapcode website or the @japan_map_code_converter_bot Telegram bot ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What the service does
JapanMapcode is a free utility that converts a Google Maps link into a Japan Denso Mapcode, for entry into Japanese car navigation systems. It is provided as-is, with no account required.
No official affiliation
JapanMapcode is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Denso Corporation, Google, Telegram, japanmapcode.com, or mapcode.app. Denso has never published an official public Mapcode conversion API; results are computed by querying public lookup endpoints of third-party Mapcode websites.
Accuracy is not guaranteed
Mapcodes are computed by third-party services we don't control, and results may occasionally be wrong, unavailable, or inconsistent. Always confirm the destination on your navigation system before driving. We are not responsible for missed turns, wrong destinations, or any consequence of relying on a Mapcode returned by this service.
Acceptable use
Please don't abuse the service — no automated bulk scraping, no attempts to circumvent rate limits or usage caps, and no use that disrupts the service for other users. We may throttle or block use that we reasonably believe is abusive.
No warranty, limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
Availability and changes
The service may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time, without notice.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the update will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
